Speaking at a big New Year party in a packed Chelmsford cathedral on Saturday January 12, Steve Chalke said: “The Chelmsford Christian Festival will have a wonderful message to share. Whoever we are and whatever we’ve done, we’re all made in God’s image. I’m looking forward to coming to Re:fresh 08 in July.” 

Nearly 700 people joined in the party. Steve Chalke will introduce the London Gospel Community Choir at the Festival on July 19. The Festival offers nine days of live acts, music, special guests, talks and fringe events from July 12 to 20
