Tile Kiln Church is a church for all people and is focussed on living out our faith in today's world. We are a contemporary church that values and cares for the youngest to the oldest, equipping each other to trust in God, follow the example of Jesus, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit to reach out to others. We work enthusiastically in partnership with the local churches in Chelmsford.

We seek to honour God in worship, serve one another in fellowship and embrace the world in mission.

To honour God in worship, we seek to:

 Develop and grow in our experience and expression of wholehearted, joyful and reverent worship, led by the Holy Spirit.

 Encourage personal growth in holiness of life and maturity in Christ, our lives witnessing to others of the centrality of Jesus Christ in all that we are and do.

 Grow in our understanding, knowing and loving of God through sound Bible teaching.

To serve one another in fellowship, we seek to:

 Promote and nurture real fellowship as we seek to work out together what it means to love one another as Christ loves us.

 Help each other discover and use to the full our different gifts, talents and insights for the glory of God, building up the church and beneficial to all.

 Co-operate with all believers for the glory of God and the work of the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

To embrace the world in mission, we seek to:

 Strengthen and equip each other in our calling to make Jesus known to all people everywhere.

 Address local, national and international issues of social righteousness and justice.

 Encourage one another in wholehearted daily Christian discipleship.
